Back To Reality

The two week break I had from school and work was lovely, but this week = back to reality. On Monday I started my quick 2½ week Winter course before the Spring semester starts. I love how quiet and empty it is on campus during the Winter and Summer. No suffocating while on the shuttle, waiting in line at the print station, or scrambling for a seat in the cafeteria! What I don't love, however, is cramming 15-16 weeks worth of work into 2½... but I guess that's just the sacrifice you have to make when you want to speed things up. Plus, I'm just trying to get as many credits out of the way from now until June, because I am pretty sure I will have to (temporarily) be part-time for the upcoming fall semester.
After I left campus today I went over to the headquarters of one of my scholarships because I got an e-mail saying they bought some of the scholars brand new Dell laptops for Christmas! I already have one, but I wasn't going to turn that down LOL. I will probably let my daughter have it since she is always trying to take over my laptop to watch the Rugrats and Caillou on YouTube and Netflix. That was extremely nice and thoughtful of them, though. Super thankful for that!

Intermission and summer school courses.. I have a love-hate relationship with them. That's a lot of work to squeeze into those weeks but I'm sure you'll be able to get it done.
